The Australian National Centre for Latin American Studies (ANCLAS) promotes research, teaching, and training in Latin American studies at ANU. ANCLAS supports the diverse engagements ANU staff and students have with Latin America. The Centre is an important provider of research excellence and knowledge on the region. ANCLAS serves as a research hub that has established expertise on relations between Latin America and Australia as well as Latin America’s role in the world. The Centre’s location at the ANU makes it the ideal meeting point for research and policy collaborations across Latin America, Asia Pacific and Australia, and seeks to enhance dialogue, analysis, and cooperation across the three continents.
